Supporting All Learners, Together
As a special education mom, a social worker for children and adults with disabilities, and a lifelong advocate, I know the journey families walk when their child needs more than what a standard system offers. I also know the power of what happens when a school gets it right — when students feel seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Our kids thrive when they’re provided with both structure and flexibility — a steady framework that supports their needs, and the compassion to adjust when life requires something different.
That’s the kind of system I want to help lead.
As a candidate for Redmond School Board, I am committed to:
🧩 Prioritizing Individualized Supports – recognizing that no two students learn the same, and honoring their IEPs as more than just documents, but living tools for success.
🔁 Building Systems That Flex – creating structures that are strong, yet adaptable to each student’s abilities, challenges, and real-life needs.
🛡️ Protecting Safety and Well-Being – ensuring every student is safe, both physically and emotionally, in their learning environment.
🤝 Partnering with Families – listening to parents and caregivers, and making decisions that reflect their voices and experiences.
🧠 Investing in Skills for Life – preparing students not just academically, but socially and emotionally, for a future where they can thrive.
Our students are growing up in rapidly changing times. They need leaders who don’t just follow rigid systems — they need leaders who adapt, who listen, and who build support around every child’s potential.
I’m not just running for school board — I’m running for families like mine, for students like ours, and for a future that includes every learner.
